Topics covered include childhood trauma, strengthening resilience in children, understanding abuse, identifying abuse, reporting abuse, managing disclosure, child sex trafficking, social media/online safety, being a "safe adult", and best practices to protect children and organizations. This training is perfect for organizations that work with children like churches, youth sports leagues, and community organizations. It can also be beneficial to parents, grandparents, guardians, caregivers, and concerned citizens. This training is not appropriate for children.

Resilience Film Screening
The Resilience Film is an award winning documentary film about Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE's). It reveals eye opening research on how childhood trauma affects physical and mental health. This training is an excellent follow up to our Child Safety: A Proactive Response training, or it can be a stand alone educational opportunity. It's for organizations that work with children like churches, youth sports leagues, and community organizations. It can also be beneficial to university students in education, counseling, psychology, sociology, as well as parents, grandparents, guardians, caregivers, and concerned citizens. This training is appropriate for children ages 13+.

Mandated Reporter Training
The Mandated Reporter Training is for anyone considered a mandated reporter by Arkansas state law. This includes teachers, counselors, school officials, school nurses, child care workers, law enforcement personnel, medical professionals, social workers, mental health professionals, employees of state agencies dealing with children, coroners, and members of the clergy. This is a 90-minute interactive training where participants learn about child abuse and neglect, how to identify maltreatment, and steps for appropriate response and reporting. This training is free and is approved by the Arkansas Department of Education. This training is not appropriate for children.

Stewards of Children
A specialized training for organizations on how to prevent, recognize, and respond responsibly to child sexual abuse. This training features video stories of sexual abuse survivors and is for adults only. This training is another suggested follow-up training to Child Safety: A Proactive Response. Or, it could be a stand alone training for those seeking a greater understanding of sexual abuse and its prevention. This training is not appropriate for children.

Healing & Hope
Healing and Hope is an introductory presentation about child abuse and neglect, and the work of the Percy & Donna Malone Child Safety Center. This brief overview is perfect for civic groups (Rotary, Lions, etc.), business leaders, chamber of commerce groups, municipal and county government groups, religious organizations, and more. This presentation is appropriate for children ages 13+.
