What is Duck Derby Festival?
The Duck Derby Festival is a fun-filled, family-friendly community event benefiting the Percy & Donna Malone Child Safety Center and the children and families we serve. This annual fundraiser brings our community together for a day of excitement, laughter, and purpose — all while supporting critical services for children impacted by abuse.
In the weeks leading up to the festival, supporters “adopt” numbered rubber ducks. On event day, thousands of ducks are released into the river and race toward the finish line. The first ducks to cross win exciting prizes, and every duck purchased helps provide advocacy, forensic interviews, therapy, prevention education, and family support services.
The festival itself is completely free to attend, ensuring that every family in our community can join the fun. Activities include festival games, inflatables, a dunking booth, outdoor learning activities, a Jeep Show, Color Wars, and more. It’s a day designed to celebrate community while raising awareness about child protection and healing.
Every duck adopted and every sponsorship secured helps us continue providing help, healing, and hope to children during some of the hardest moments of their lives.
Join us for a day of fun — and make a meaningful difference.
